Mount Kenya - Day 5

We leave from Met Station at 8AM toward Naro Moru gate. We are walking slowly and we manage to see some animals on the road, mainly monkeys and antilopes (or cousin that is...). It is a pleasant 2h walk even though the road is wet and slippery from last night rains.

The girls that left approximately 30 minutes after us catch up just a few hundred meters from the exit gate. We then separate quickly. I would not mind to see them again when I will be in the US at fall as they were very pleasant company.

We are back to Nairobi around 4PM. Amazingly, the hotel is full of new people, mainly young people doing an overland safari. Cheryl, Roger and I are going to Carnivore at 7:30PM to enjoy good food. Carnivore is a very famous restaurant that serves game meat (zebra, ostrich, crocodile, gazelle, ...) in a all-you-can-eat dinner.
