Flying over Victoria Falls

I finally went lately this afternoon for a 15-minute helicopter ride over Victoria Falls. It is definitely a different and nice way to see the falls. Right now, the water level is at its highest since 1999 and the amount of water being poured down is absolutely amazing.

I will probably take advantage of my next trip to Zimbabwe to see the falls as the angle is much different and looks better than the Zambian side. The cost for Victoria Falls is $20 in the Zimbabwean side and $10 in the Zambian side.

The situation right now in Zimbabwe is a little bit a mess, I have little feedback from people travelling around as most of them cross straight from other countries and go directly to the falls. Roughly there is a shortage of fuel and the inflation is incredible, so it could make things a little bit difficult.

As I will be leaving from Victoria Falls (the city in Zimbabwe, not the falls themselves) to Johannesburg and as the visa is $30, I will try to stay a couple of days and go to a place called Gweru and more exactly Antelope Park which is a place that breeds lions, but I hope to have more information once I'm in Vic Falls.
