Paris to Sodwana

After a week in Paris where among other things I enjoyed public transport strikes, eating and drinking out with friends, I'm back to Sodwana. I left Paris at 23:25 yesterday and arrived in Johannesburg around 9:50 this morning, I then rented the same car as last time (VW Chico) at AVIS - A brand new car with 480km only ! - . I tried first Budget but they did not have any car available for this category...and they did not bother replying my email from 2 days ago as well. They probably do too much business... . I just wanted to check Budget prices as their drop off price is R150 instead of R250, but no chance this time.

I left Johannesburg airport at 11:00 and after driving 7h30 and 680km I'm in Sodwana. Driving this time was piece of cake, I'm now totally used to drive on the left side and change gear with the left hand. Getting out of Jo'Burg and driving to Sodwana was kind of easy as well since I somewhat knew the road. I got lost temporarily around Ermelo as signs are sometimes missing a bit when you're driving in town but that was short.

Needless to say that I'm a bit tired after a 9h30 night flight and more than 7h driving straight out from the plane. I don't think I will have any problem sleeping tonight... and I'm diving at 7:00 tomorrow morning, woohooo !

Oh, and I arrived to Coral Divers just in time for watching the Formula One GP in Canada, MS won

By the way, I cracked under pressure at the airport...at the last minute I decided to take a small saucisson aux herbes, a Saint Marcellin and a crottin de Chavignolles for the road, I did not take any Pastis though.
