Aah this is the first shark I'm seeing clearly at Chumphon. I was diving with my cool english buddy Jim and we got an excellent dive spotting the major attractions of Chumphon: Shark and.... the yellow boxfish. Murphy's law was in action...I had fog in the housing and could not take a nice picture of this boxfish. This is the 2nd time I see it in Chumphon and 3rd time since I'm diving. The first time was in Aliwal Shoal, near Cathedral, it was a baby one that was as small as a thumb nail !
Second dive was Twins where I was attacked by a Titan Triggerfish that was very interested in my fins. The resident Clark's Anemonefish family lost in the middle of nowhere was also part of the album though I did not manage to take a really good shot of them.
I decided to do a nightdive as well and went with Jacqueline and Mark to White Rock. It looks like I'm lucky with the material as my light was flooded during the dive
. Despite the extremely bad visibility we managed to see a big coral grouper, giant barracudas, a small cuttlefish that looked like quite worried with all the light beams and the usual suspects.

Posted by: stephane on August 25, 2003 10:28 AMIt appears OK now. (maybe a cache problem?).
The pictures were duplicated in this entry (Shark !!) and the next one (Off to the Perhentian Islands).
