Kizimkazi and Joziani
Today I have been going to Kizimkazi to swim with dolphins, this was an interesting experience though I’m wondering what are the dolphins thinking about all this mess. At first we were only 2 boats and it was not too stressfull but not so long after 8 boats were turning around and chasing them to drop the people in the water.
I did not manage to take pictures of dolphins. Why ? Because this was a quick encounter. I managed to dive in the middle of a group of 6 dolphins and I just noticed that my camera was off !! Time to turn it on and aim and I had only the picture of 75% of a dolphin, and more the shadow than anything else. Really bad as I was not more distant than 1 meter from one of them when I was freediving. When I went to the surface to breath some air they were gone.
In the afternoon we went to stop at the Joziani forest to see the Colobus monkeys. It differs heavily from its cousin in Diani though it is also endangered.
